To Watch TV
1 Turn your VCR off, or press the VCR's TV/VTR button
on the Remote Commander until the VTR indicator in
the disptay window goes off.
2 Set the A/B switch to "B".
3 Switch on your cable box.
4 Tune the TV to the cable box output channel (usually 2,
3, or 4).
5 Select the channel you want to watch with your cable
box.
6 After watching the TV, please remember to return the
A/B switch and cable box channel to the correct
positon.
To Watch the VCR
14 Tune the TV to Ch 3 or 4 (or to A/V input if you made
A/V connections).
2 Insert a cassette and press ® PLAY.

To Record a Program Using the Timer
@ Unscrambled Channels
1 Insert a cassette.
Switch the A/B switch to "A".
Press MENU and select TIMER SET/CHECK.
Press EXECUTE.
Set DATE, ON time, OFF time, CHannel and tape
recording speed.
6 Press EXECUTE and then press TIMER REC
(ON/OFF).
7 Leave the A/B switch in "A".

@ Scrambled Channels
1 Insert a blank cassette.
Switch the A/B
switch to "B"'.
Switch on your cable box.
Select the channel you want to record on the cable box.
Press MENU and select TIMER SET/CHECK.
Press EXECUTE.
Set DATE, ON time, OFF time, CHannel and tape
recording speed.
The channel! number must be the same as the cable
box output channel.
8 Press EXECUTE and then TIMER REC (ON/OFF).
9 Leave the A/B swithc in "B".
