Functions
¢ Voice boost function
When playing back a tape recorded with a camcorder, enhances a voice portion of the sound and reduces "unwanted"
background noise like wind so that it's easier to listen to conversation.
¢ Timer recording of six programs in a month
Recording of up to six TV programs can be preset up to one month in advance.
On-screen display
¢ Data screen
Date, time, tape counter, tape recording speed and operation mode can be displayed on the TV screen.
¢ TIMER SET/CHECK display
Timer recording settings can be set and checked by referring to the TV screen.
¢ SLEEP TIMER display
The power off time can be set in the unit of 30 minutes (up to 5 hours).
¢ ON SCREEN HELP messages
The VCR gives a message on screen to warn that you have attempted an incorrect operation.
Editing
¢ DUAL MODE SHUTTLE ring
Allows quick access to the desired scene and playback in various speeds in forward and reverse direction.
¢ Control
L @ (LANC) jack
Allows connection with another video equipment such as a video camera recorder (camcorder), controlling tape
transportation easily.
Furthermore, simultaneous control of both devices is enabled for bi-directional synchronized editing.
¢ CONTROL S INPUT jack
Allows remote control of this VCR by other Sony video equipment with a CONTROL S OUTPUT jack.
