Setting the Sleep Timer
This feature allows you to have the VCR turn off at the preset time automatically.
You can preset the time in units of 30 minutes (up to 5 hours). Using this function, it
is not necessary to wait until the entire recording has finished.
Before You Begin
e Use A and ¥ to move the cursor (>).
e Use <and P to set the preset time.
1 Press MENU.
The main MENU appears.
2 Press A or ¥ to move the cursor to SLEEP TIMER.
3 Press EXECUTE.
The SLEEP TIMER menu appears.
4 Press < or > to set the preset time.
Press & to increase the preset time.
Press < to decrease the preset time.

5 Press EXECUTE to start the sleep timer.
The indication "SLEEP TIMER" and the time you've just
preset will appear on the TV screen.
When you press EXECUTE, the time displayed will count 0.90
down in units of one minute.

To cancel the sleep timer
Press POWER or press < or P in step 4 to set the timer to
