Before removing the touchpad button board, follow these steps:

Remove the touchpad button board:

Disconnect the touchpad button board cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (1).
2.
Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (2) that secure the board to the computer, and then remove
the touchpad button board from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad button board.
