12.2 Lubricating

The machine is equipped with a central oil-wick lubrication system.
The bearings are supplied from the oil reservoir.
Important
1. The places that must be lubricated are marked on the machine in red
2. Once a week, the machine should be thoroughly cleaned of all dirt and

Risk of injury from contact with oil!
Oil can cause a rash if it comes into contact with
skin.
Avoid skin contact with oil.
If oil has come into contact with your skin, wash
the affected areas thoroughly.
NOTICE
Property damage from incorrect oil!
Incorrect oil types can result in damage to the machine.
Only use oil that complies with the data in the instructions.
CAUTION
Risk of environmental damage from oil!
Oil is a pollutant and must not enter the sewage
system or the soil.
Carefully collect up used oil.
Dispose of used oil and oily machine parts in
accordance with national regulations.

holes are clean before lubricating. If they are not, they must first be
cleaned. Drip oil into the lubrication holes or onto the surface of the
parts as required so that the parts are properly lubricated but the oil
does not leak out unnecessarily. The needle bar and those parts of the
machine that are subjected to more friction or stress should be lubri-
cated several times a day as needed. After the machine has been put
into operation, it should be cleaned daily, especially those parts that
come into contact with the material being sewn. The hook and hooking
device must be cleaned several times a day.
