Pre-Maintenance Procedures

Retrieving a Machine

In an emergency, you can push or tow the machine.
Note:
Do not tow the machine on a slope; the wheels will spin freely when you remove the
gear.
1. Chock the wheels.
2. Remove the gearbox cover.
3. Remove the gear from the gearbox.
4. Install the gearbox cover to prevent
contamination.
5. Tow the machine as required using the tie
down locations.
6. Remove the gearbox cover.
7. Clean and install the gear in the gearbox and
install the gearbox cover.
