    • Scanning Passports and Booklets You can scan originals such as passports or booklets using the straight path position. Note: Epson Smart Panel does not support booklet scanning. With the scanning software, you have the option of saving only the identification pages of your passport (Windows only).
  • Page 13 Scan to Cloud service Send scanned images to cloud services such as Evernote, Google Drive, and Dropbox, as well as to email addresses using Epson Connect. Email images directly from the scanner Scan to Email Send scanned images as email attachments either by setting up an email server or by using the Epson Connect cloud service.

Using a carrier sheet allows you to scan irregular shaped originals or originals that can easily be scratched.
  • Page 21 Vertical path position When scanning multiple sheets of standard-size originals, or thin paper or receipts, pull the scanner position selector on the back of the product and tilt the scanner forward into the vertical path position. Note: When the scanner is changed to the vertical path position, the vertical path icon appears on the LCD screen.
