Instructions

Please note:

Minimum penetration depth >10 mm to achieve accurate values (Fig.1).
Use the pre-borer when measuring the core temperature in frozen food. Then place the measuring tip in the object to be measured (Fig.2).
Risk of injury from measuring tip.
Maximum ambient and operating temperature (e.g.protect instrument from sunlight).

Avoid:

Use in corrosive acids or alkalines (Fig. 3).
Measurements on live parts (Fig. 4).

The warranty is invalid if instruments are inexpertly handled.

Accessories

Note: The IP 67 protection class is guaranteed only inside the closed TopSafe. If the instrument is kept immersed for a longer period of time, apply grease to inside openings of TopSafe (see arrows).

Battery needs to be changed.
Observe correct polarisation of batteries/rechargeable batteries.

Switch between °C / °F
Set alarm limit.
Decide if alarm is to flash when value is above or below limit

Contact measurement

HOLD: Press button
Measuring: Press button again
Measuring: Release button
OFF: Press button for 3 s
