Eclipse Uninstall Eclipse Uninstall 1. Identify Side A and Side B. a. Open both sides of the dispenser and Identify the Weights and Measures Switch. This is identified by the metal bracket closed by a sealed wire. The side with this switch is Side A.

Eclipse Uninstall d. Fully uninstall the LON cables connected to the CRIND board and discard the cables (Side A only). One cable runs from the Totalizer board to the CRIND Board, remove and discard. One runs from the CRIND Board to the Tuneup Board if present or directly to the Dispenser CPU Board, Discard and remove.

Install the longer previously retained Printer LON cable from the Totalizer board to the Tuneup Board if present or directly to the Dispenser CPU Board. This will successfully bypass the need for the CRIND board in the dispenser. (Side A only) 6.

Eclipse Uninstall c. Remove the 3 bolts holding the CRIND board bracket. Remove and discard the CRIND Board Bracket and board. 8. Uninstall the PPU Bracket and place into the dispenser. a. Mark the location of the boot switch or switches and corresponding connectors to re-install in the correct location(s).

Eclipse Uninstall b. Remove the PPU Bracket from the door and retain hardware. c. Place the PPU Bracket inside of the dispenser.

Eclipse Uninstall 9. Remove the PPU Paddles. a. Note the PPU Paddle positions for reinstallation. b. Remove the paddle by pushing up on the latch underneath the Paddle and lifting up firmly on the Paddle. Using a flat head screw driver gives more leverage to disengage the latch.

Eclipse Uninstall c. Remove the Paddle assemblies and retain all Paddle components including hardware. 10. Remove the center display and discard. a. Disconnect the grounding cable. Retain the cable connected to the dispenser and lower printer electronics shield.

Eclipse Uninstall b. Disconnect the center panel by unscrewing the indicated bolts below. Remove and discard. 11. Remove the Upper Dispenser Panel. a. Unscrew the panel from the dispenser door. Discard the hardware.

Eclipse Install b. Place in the Eclipse Bracket (497-0517788) and line up of the PSU Assembly Encore Wing Studs. Note: Route cables around and away from the PSU assembly while installing to prevent pinching any cable harnesses inside the dispenser. c. Secure the Bracket to the Assembly using the retained PSU nuts. 2.

Eclipse Install a. Slide in the 2 supplied screws (006-8611286) into the top of the Eclipse bracket. b. Secure the Bracket and PSU in place using the 2 supplied wing nuts (006-8623996) on the opposite side of the dispenser. Note: Some cable restraint features may need to be removed or moved out of the way to fit in the PSU Assembly.
Eclipse Install Wire the Power Supply 1. Wire Dispenser Power to PSU. a. Plug in the Eclipse Adapter Cable (497-0513385) single connector end to the Universal Pig Tail on the PSU Assembly. b. Plug in the male connector end of the Y cable (497-0514570) to the white female connector of the Eclipse Adapter Cable.

Eclipse Install c. Unplug the AC Power-in cable from the Dispenser AC board and plug it into the free female end of the Y Cable. d. Plug in the middle connection of the Y cable connector to the Dispenser AC board.

Eclipse Install c. Reinstall the Customer Display using the retained hardware. Make sure the display is oriented correctly. The LON cable connections should be located in the lower left corner when the Customer Display is installed in the correct orientation. d. Reinstall the PPU Paddles assemblies in the previously marked positions with retained hardware.
