    Eclipse Uninstall Eclipse Uninstall 1. Identify Side A and Side B. a. Open both sides of the dispenser and Identify the Weights and Measures Switch. This is identified by the metal bracket closed by a sealed wire. The side with this switch is Side A.

  • Page 22 Eclipse Uninstall b. Remove the LON Terminator if located on one of the Printer LON Headers and retain. c. Remove the printer from the Printer Door using a 9/32". Discard the printer and hardware. 4. Uninstall the components and remove all cable restraints that will not be reused.

Note: The LON loop must connect to all original dispenser components being used, like the customer display and dispenser CPU. A LON terminator must be installed at the end of the loop to "turn"...

  • Page 28 Eclipse Uninstall d. Fully uninstall the LON cables connected to the CRIND board and discard the cables (Side A only). One cable runs from the Totalizer board to the CRIND Board, remove and discard. One runs from the CRIND Board to the Tuneup Board if present or directly to the Dispenser CPU Board, Discard and remove.

Install the longer previously retained Printer LON cable from the Totalizer board to the Tuneup Board if present or directly to the Dispenser CPU Board. This will successfully bypass the need for the CRIND board in the dispenser. (Side A only) 6.
  • Page 30 Eclipse Uninstall 7. Uninstall the CRIND board. (Side A only) a. Mark the comm cable connected to the CRIND board and unplug from the CRIND board. b. Disconnect all remaining cables to the CRIND Board installed on the Upper Electronics Rail.
  • Page 31 Eclipse Uninstall c. Remove the 3 bolts holding the CRIND board bracket. Remove and discard the CRIND Board Bracket and board. 8. Uninstall the PPU Bracket and place into the dispenser. a. Mark the location of the boot switch or switches and corresponding connectors to re-install in the correct location(s).
  • Page 32 Eclipse Uninstall b. Remove the PPU Bracket from the door and retain hardware. c. Place the PPU Bracket inside of the dispenser.
  • Page 33 Eclipse Uninstall 9. Remove the PPU Paddles. a. Note the PPU Paddle positions for reinstallation. b. Remove the paddle by pushing up on the latch underneath the Paddle and lifting up firmly on the Paddle. Using a flat head screw driver gives more leverage to disengage the latch.
  • Page 34 Eclipse Uninstall c. Remove the Paddle assemblies and retain all Paddle components including hardware. 10. Remove the center display and discard. a. Disconnect the grounding cable. Retain the cable connected to the dispenser and lower printer electronics shield.
  • Page 35 Eclipse Uninstall b. Disconnect the center panel by unscrewing the indicated bolts below. Remove and discard. 11. Remove the Upper Dispenser Panel. a. Unscrew the panel from the dispenser door. Discard the hardware.

    Eclipse Install Eclipse Install Install the PSU assembly Install the Dispenser Cub to the PSU Panel Note: One Cub per dispenser. The PSU Panel with Cub is the Side A PSU. The PSU Panel without the Cub is the Side B PSU. Install the Cub on one universal Power Supply Bracket.
  • Page 38 Eclipse Install b. Place in the Eclipse Bracket (497-0517788) and line up of the PSU Assembly Encore Wing Studs. Note: Route cables around and away from the PSU assembly while installing to prevent pinching any cable harnesses inside the dispenser. c. Secure the Bracket to the Assembly using the retained PSU nuts. 2.
  • Page 39 Eclipse Install a. Slide in the 2 supplied screws (006-8611286) into the top of the Eclipse bracket. b. Secure the Bracket and PSU in place using the 2 supplied wing nuts (006-8623996) on the opposite side of the dispenser. Note: Some cable restraint features may need to be removed or moved out of the way to fit in the PSU Assembly.

    Eclipse Install Wire the Power Supply 1. Wire Dispenser Power to PSU. a. Plug in the Eclipse Adapter Cable (497-0513385) single connector end to the Universal Pig Tail on the PSU Assembly. b. Plug in the male connector end of the Y cable (497-0514570) to the white female connector of the Eclipse Adapter Cable.
  • Page 41 Eclipse Install c. Unplug the AC Power-in cable from the Dispenser AC board and plug it into the free female end of the Y Cable. d. Plug in the middle connection of the Y cable connector to the Dispenser AC board.
  • Page 42 Eclipse Install Note: If installing a B side PSU, plug into the previously installed A Side Orange Bus Connector after connecting the adapter cable to the PSU pigtail. 2. Wire Comm cable to Dispenser Cub. (Side A Only) a. Plug in the Eclipse Comm Adapter cable (497-0513679) to the Dispenser Cub. b.

    Eclipse Install 4. Install the yellow CAT network cable (497-0513384) into the Cub LAN 1 terminal (for Side A). Note: Use the LAN 2 terminal for Side B installation. Install the OPTIC 5 Panel 1. Place in the OPTIC 5 panel (497-0515244) into the upper opening and screw the supplied 32 1/2"...
  • Page 44 Eclipse Install Note: Attach the loose Grounding Cable while installing the PPU Bracket. b. Plug in the Boot Switch or Switches to the previously marked location(s).
  • Page 45 Eclipse Install c. Reinstall the Customer Display using the retained hardware. Make sure the display is oriented correctly. The LON cable connections should be located in the lower left corner when the Customer Display is installed in the correct orientation. d. Reinstall the PPU Paddles assemblies in the previously marked positions with retained hardware.
  • Page 46 Eclipse Install 3. Place in Covers and Blank Plates. a. Clean the surface of any left over gasket material or debris before installing the blank panel.
  • Page 47 Eclipse Install b. Install Blank Panels (497-0513479) as needed using 4 supplied 3/8" Hexscrews (006-8625157) using a 1/4" nut driver. Note: One is always needed for the Credit Card Reader option.

  • Page 51 Eclipse Install b. Open the OPTIC 5 Printer access door. c. Remove the security cover from the OPTIC 5. Remove the two 3mm Hex Screws and retain. Retain the cover.
  • Page 52 Eclipse Install d. Feed through the pre-installed OPTIC 5 DC Wiring Cable from the PSU assembly into the indicated opening on the Tamper Prevention Plate. Plug in the power cable and reinstall the security cover with the two 3mm Hex Screws previously retained.
