BARTACK (MANUAL)

Secure elastic ends, drapery pleats, belt loops, and pocket corners
with the same look as ready-to-wear.
1. Place fabric under the presser foot. Lower the presser foot
and press on the foot control to start sewing. Your machine
will sew a straight stitch until you touch Reverse .
2. Your machine will then sew in reverse until you touch reverse
again.
3. Your machine will then sew a zigzag, covering the straight
stitches.
4. Touch Reverse to automatically tie off.

AUTOMATIC TAPERING STITCHES

The Automatic Tapering Stitches can be used to form corners
and points but also to create satin stitch lettering.
1. Select an Automatic Tapering Stitch (1:37-38).
2. Place the fabric under the presser foot. Lower the presser
foot.
3. Start sewing. The machine will sew the tapered point and
then continue with the stitch in the selected stitch width. A
reverse icon is shown on the TouchScreen. When the stitch
reaches the desired length, press Reverse to start the end
tapering. When the tapering is completed the machine stops
automatically.
4. To repeat the Automatic Tapering stitch press STOP.
Tip: For a narrower stitch, adjust the stitch width.
Tip: To begin with a flat end satin stitch, touch reverse before beginning to
sew.
