3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3.3.36.3. Scan Imaging Unit

1. Remove 2 screws. And then, remove the scan glass
holder cover.
2. Lift the scan glass up and release it.
NOTE
Be careful not to contaminate the scan glass.
3. Remove 5 screws. And then, release the CCD shield.

4. Remove the 2 screws and 2 plate springs.
NOTE
Do not loosen the screws marked by green X.
5. Open the connector flip. And then, unplug the flat cable.
