Explanation
This is the Flat Field Imminent
Symbol. It warns that flat-field
correction (FFC) is about to
begin.
This often occurs when the
temperature of the camera
fluctuates, such as after the
camera is powered on, or when
ambient temperature is
changing.

Solution
Do nothing; this is normal
operation for the thermal
camera.
Wait for the camera to
perform a flat-field correction
(FFC).
Increase the Gain Level in the
Camera > Picture Settings
Thermal menu.
Increase the Gain Bias in the
Camera > Picture Settings
Thermal menu.
If the camera is set to Manual
contrast mode (in the
Camera > Picture Settings
Thermal menu), then reduce
the manual contrast or
switch to AGC mode.
Reduce the Gain Level in the
Camera > Picture Settings
Thermal menu.
Change from Manual contrast
mode to AGC mode in the
Camera > Picture Settings
Thermal menu.
Check that the objects that
are not in sharp focus are
within the allowed distance
range for your model of
thermal camera.
Check to see if the heat of
objects is being reflected off
a surface, causing thermal
reflections.
