Align a recorder

Side to side alignment
In this sample, The recorder tray is too far to the right in relation to the disc and the gripper.
Note: If the recorder tray is too far to the left, perform the adjustments on the opposite sides.
1. Turn the Torx T10 adjustment screw
counterclockwise on the right side. The right
side of the recorder moves out.
Note: Turn the adjustment screws ½ turn
at a time.
2. Turn the Torx T10 adjustment screw
clockwise on the left.
3. Tighten the Torx T10 recorder screws or the
thumb screws. These adjustments move the
recorder to the left.
4. Check the alignment.
If the disc is centered on the tray, the
recorder is aligned.
If the disc is misaligned, check one of the
following:
Is the misalignment still side to side? If
so, repeat the previous steps.
Is the misalignment front to back? If
so, go to Front to back alignment on
page 3.
Is the misalignment diagonal? If so, go
to Diagonal alignment on page 4.

The figure shows a side to side misalignment. The left
side of the disc is touching the tray and the gaps at E and
F are larger than the gaps at C and D.
