Before removing the fan, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Remove the fan:
1.
Disconnect the fan cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Loosen the three captive Phillips screws (2) that secure the fan to the computer.
3.
Remove the fan (3) from the computer.
To install the fan, reverse this procedure.
