Some CD-ROM drives contain an embedded Class 3A or Class 3B laser
diode. Note the following.
Laser radiation when open. Do not stare into the beam, do not view directly
with optical instruments, and avoid direct exposure to the beam.

Electrical current from power, telephone, and communication
cables can be hazardous. To avoid personal injury or equipment
damage, disconnect the attached power cords,
telecommunications systems, networks, and modems before you
open the server covers, unless instructed otherwise in the
installation and configuration procedures.
