Flooded engine
If the engine fails to start after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded engine.
1.
L ea ve t he e ngine st op sw it ch se t t o
(RUN).
2.
Open throttle fully.
3.
Press the starter button for 5 seconds.
4.
T hen f ollow t he normal st art ing
procedure.
5.
If the engine start, then open the throttle
slightly if idling is unstable.
If the engine does not start, wait for 10
seconds, then follow steps 1-4 again.
RUNNING-IN
Help assure your motorcycle's future
reliability and performance by paying extra
attention to how you ride during the first
500 km (300 miles).
During this period, avoid full-throttle starts
and rapid acceleration.
