A1 VCXO Frequency Adjustment

The purpose of this procedure is to adjust the VCXO on the A1 Reference Oscillator
Board.

Required Equipment

Frequency Counter
BNC(m)-BNC(m) Cable, 61 cm

Procedure

Step 1. Run the adjustment program.
Step 2. Choose the A1 Adjustment in the Spot Adjustment.
It is possible to perform this item with the All Adjustment too.
Step 3. Make sure that nothing is connected to the "Ext Ref In" on the E4991A rear panel.
Step 4. Connect the instrument as shown in Figure 3-10

Step 5. Follow the adjustment program instruction to update the correction constant.
