Grease shaft.
2 Apply thread lubricant.
3 Flat side faces ball.
4 Beveled end up.

Round side must face toward diaphragm.
7 Apply medium-strength (blue) LoctiteR or
equivalent. Torque to 75 to 85 in-lb
(8.5 to 9.6 N-m) at 100 rpm maximum using a
1/2-in. socket wrench.

Torque to 50 to 60 in-lb (5.6 to 6.8 N-m).

Do not over-torque.
