Possible cause
SCSI board and its
driver are not installed
correctly.
An illegal error has
occurred.
The printer is not
responding.
The computer is not
properly communicating
with the printer.
The computer's
internal memory for
printing is insufficient.
Something happened to
the memory environment
of Windows.
Recovery
Correctly install the
SCSI board and its
driver. (Refer to the
manual of the SCSI
board.)
For any other trouble
related to SCSI, refer to
the SCSI section of
Care and Maintenance
( P. 134).
BConfirm the SCSI
board is correctly
installed in the
computer or cable is
correctly connected.
BTurn off the
computer, then turn it
on again.
Turn off the printer and
the computer, then turn
them on again. Print the
document again.
Follow the procedure
below and disable the bi-
directional interface.
1. Double-click Status
display setup icon in
KX-P8410 Utilities
program group.
2. Click Device tab.
3. Click off Monitor
Printer check box.
4. Click OK.
The Status Display
function becomes
ineffective.
BClose all applications
except for the one
which controls the
printer, then print
again.
BTurn off the
computer, then turn it
on again.
Re-boot Windows.
