The signal is received for a specified period of time, and then scanning resumes.
Factory default setting: BUSY

to normal operation.
The above settings are common for VFO scan, memory scan and programmable memory
scan (PMS).

Skip Memory Channels

Each memory channel can be set to be skipped during memory scan.
1. Press and hold the
The memory channel list appears.
The memory channel list can also be displayed by the following operations:
Press the FUNC knob  Select [KEYPAD] 
Press the FUNC knob  Select [MEMORY CH LIST]  Press the FUNC knob
2. Rotate the FUNC knob to select the memory channel number that you do not want to
scan, and press the FUNC knob.
3. Touch [EDIT].
Or rotate the FUNC knob to select [EDIT], then press the FUNC knob.
4. Touch [SCAN].
Or rotate the FUNC knob to select [SCAN], then press the FUNC knob to select [NO].
5. Touch [OK].
Or rotate the FUNC knob to select [OK], then press the FUNC knob.
6. When the confirmation screen is displayed, touch [OK] or press the FUNC knob.
When the memory channel set as the skip memory is called, the " " icon is dis-
played.
To cancel the skip memory, set it to "YES" in step 5 above.

Programmable Memory scan (PMS)

This function scans only the range of frequencies between the lower and upper limits
registered in a pair of PMS Programmable Memory channels. 50 sets of PMS memory
channels (L01/U01 to L50/U50) are available.
