S0=
Set the number of the rings required
0-255
before the modem automatically answers
a call. Set "S0=0" to disable auto-answer
mode
S1= 0-255
Count the incoming rings and store the
value to this register. The value of this
register is incremented with each ring. If
no rings occur over an 8 sec. interval, this
register is cleared. User can read but
should not change this value
S2=
S2 holds the decimal value of the ASCII
0-255
character used as the escape character.
The default value (043) corresponds to an
ASCII character "+". A value of 128 to 255
disables the escape process, i.e., no
escape character will be recognized
S3= 0-127
