Troubleshooting
I cannot register the speakerphone.
• If you have already registered the maximum numbers of handsets and/or speakerphones that
the telephone system accommodates, you need to follow the deregistration instructions before
registering a speakerphone. See "Register the Wireless Speakerphone" on page 4 and
"Replace a Wireless Speakerphone" on page 5.
• Make sure that all registered handsets, registered speakerphones and the telephone base are
in idle mode when registering a speakerphone.
• Follow the steps below for the common cure for electronic equipment, then try again to
register a speakerphone.
I want to use my cordless speakerphone with a different telephone base.
• You need to deregister the speakerphone from the current telephone base (see page 5)
and then register it to the new telephone base.
Common cure for electronic equipment.
• If the unit is not responding normally, try the following (in the order listed):
- Disconnect the power to the telephone base.
- Wait a few minutes before connecting power to the telephone base.
- Wait for the cordless speakerphone to synchronize with the telephone base. Allow up to one
minute for this to take place.
