Replacing an Imaging Unit
When replacing an imaging unit, refer to the following table. For optimum print
quality and performance, use only approved Epson imaging units, as listed in
the table below. You can find the imaging unit part numbers on the consum-
ables reorder label inside the front cover your machine.
Imaging Unit Type
Imaging Unit -Black (K)
Imaging Unit -Yellow (Y)
Imaging Unit -Magenta (M)
Imaging Unit -Cyan (C)
Note
Do not touch the OPC drum
surface. This could lower image
quality.
Exposure to light can damage the
drum, causing dark or light areas
to appear on the printed page and
reducing the service life of the
drum.
You are advised to replace the indicated imaging unit when the message
I-UNIT END/REPLACE X

Check the message window to see which color imaging unit needs replac-
ing.
