Precautions When Installing the Printer Driver
• Before starting the installation, close all applications.
• When you do the printer driver setup, the properties settings, or the print settings, log
in with Administrator Privilege.
• When you use the printer driver, enable bi-directional communication.
In Windows 10, open [Printer properties] under [Devices and Printers], and make
sure that [Enable bidirectional support] is checked on the [Ports] tab.
• If the remote desktop service is being started with Windows Server 2012, Windows
Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server
2022, change the remote desktop service to install mode. However, it is not
guaranteed that the printer driver can be used in the remote desktop service
environment.
• When using multiple printers, it is necessary to install as many printer drivers as
printers, to identify each printer.
• If using a CL4NX/CL6NX/CL4NX Plus/CL6NX Plus/CT4-LX/S84NX/S86NX printer,
the resolution differs depending on the model. Select the model which is compatible
with the resolution of your printer and install it. The resolution can be checked on the
printer screen.
