• If you want to download fonts and graphics from the computer, check [Enable download]
and uncheck it when you are finished downloading. If left checked, the printer performance
will be poor.
If you selected [SERIAL (COM)]
Note:
• You cannot set the same name as an existing port name.
• Select the same port as the connected printer for [Serial port].
• For [Flow control], select [None].
• The [Advanced TCP/ IP Port Configuration] dialog box can be shown even after installing
the printer driver with the following procedure:
a. Open [Devices and Printers], right-click the desired printer, and select [Printer
properties].
b. Click the [Ports] tab.
c. Click [Configure Port].
