7.2. Code Reader Setup

Set up the code reader.
Precautions for Correct Use
Use a PC (personal computer) to set the parameters for the code reader.
Note that you may need to change the PC settings depending on the condition of your PC.
7.2.1. Setting the Parameters
Set the parameters for the code reader.
Set the IP address of your PC to 192.168.188.100 and its subnet mask to 255.255.0.0.
[Using V330-F]

Connect the cord reader and the
switching hub to the PoE injector
with a LAN cable.
[Using V430-F]
Connect the Ethernet connector
of the code reader to the
switching hub with the Ethernet
cable.
Connect the I/O cable to the I/O
connector and turn ON the 24
VDC power supply.
* In this document, only the
power supply wires of the
I/O cable are connected
and checked. Be careful
not to short-circuit any
other wires.
* Ground the shield wire as
needed. For more information
on grounding, please refer to
Grounding in Appendices of
the MicroHAWK V320-

Connect the PC to the switching
hub with a LAN cable.
Connect 24 VDC power supply
(for the switching hub) to the
switching hub.
