You cannot delete or edit multiple rules simultaneously by selecting
them in the Transformation Rules or Identifier Rules lists and then
clicking the Delete or Edit button. Design Studio performs the
command only on the last rule selected. Delete or edit the rules
individually.
If you disable the Unrestricted Proxy setting on the Operation >
General page, users cannot access their local Application Menu. The
error "Page Cannot Be Displayed" appears when a device attempts to
access the Application Menu.
Workaround: Enable Unrestricted Proxy (by selecting the checkbox)
so that the Application Gateway proxies all applications and web
pages, not just those that it has transformed. If you want to restrict
phone user access to particular IP addresses, you can use the URL
filtering feature.
Alternatively, if you need to disable Unrestricted Proxy, all pages that
users need to access, including User Menu pages, must be included in
the Design Studio configuration file with a URL identifier rule that
references the page URL.
When you enter either File > Open or File > Save As, and the
appropriate dialog box appears, the list/detail icons in the upper-right
corner of the dialog box do not work. Use your Windows file browser
to view file details.
The Design Studio Find command does not work on a collapsed
portion of the XHTML tree. Expand the XHTML and then use the Find
command.
After you remove a page from a project, Design Studio does not allow
you to undo the operation. Before removing a page, back up the
configuration file.
Design Studio checks login passwords for validity up to the eighth
character only. Do not create passwords longer than eight characters.
When you publish a configuration file with a customized User Menu,
the File Publish dialog box does not have the Upload User Menu Pages
checkbox selected. If you do not select the checkbox, Design Studio
will use the User Menu that resides on the Application Gateway and
will download the User Menu from the Application Gateway to your
computer (replacing your customized User Menu with the one from
the Application Gateway). To publish a customized User Menu, be
sure to select the Upload User Menu Pages checkbox.
After you publish a configuration file from Design Studio to the
Application Gateway, you must restart the Application Gateway for
the configuration file to take effect.
