CHANGING THE TALKGROUP
You may change talkgroups to reach talkgroups other than the one that is
active. Your phone can store up to 30 pre-defined talkgroups.
1. From Group mode, enter the talkgroup number or
press
to select the talkgroup (previously entered in your
talkgroup list).
2. Press
3. To talk, press the PTT button and wait for the chirp.
RECEIVING A GROUP CALL
No action is necessary to receive a Group call as long as your phone is
not busy in a Phone or Private call or active in another group. Any com-
munication activity within the talkgroup that you select automatically
switches your phone into Group mode.
When you join a Group call, you'll be able to hear everything that's being
said in the call.
You can receive group calls only on the talkgroups that you have
predefined.

4. Press the PTT button to speak and release it to listen. On a Group Call,
anyone can talk, but only one at a time. To end a Group Call, press any key
other than the PTT button.
Note: While active in a one group, you will not have access to the other
groups.
TALKGROUP NAMING
To add a talkgroup name to your phone:
1. Press

3. At "Add New Entry?", press
4. At "Enter ID", enter the desired talkgroup name.
5. Press
6. At "Enter Name", enter the desired "Talkgroup" name.
