First Use - Use after a Long
Period of Inactivity
Refill the machine (follow the instructions above).
Connect the plug of the appliance to the mains (see
section "Connection to the Electric Network").
For a perfect Espresso: rinse the coffee circuit if using
the machine for the first time or after a long period of

inactivity.

These simple operations will allow you to always brew
excellent coffee.
They have to be performed:
• at first start-up;
• when the machine remains inactive for a long time
(more than 2 weeks).

7.11.1 After a Period of Inactivity
Empty the water tank, wash and rinse it and fill it with
fresh water (see section "Filling the Water Tank").
Place a large container under the coffee dispensing
spout.
Press the "Coffee" button to start brewing. The machine
starts brewing coffee from the dispensing spout. Wait
until brewing has been completed and empty the
container. Repeat the brewing process 3 times.
