Precautions for installation
· Before installing UTX-M06, please make sure to disconnect the cable from the battery's negative terminal (‒).
This can reduce the chance of damage to this device in the case of a short circuit.
· Please make sure to connect the color coded wires as shown in the diagram. Incorrect connection may cause
the failure of this device or damage to the electrical system of the vehicle.
· When connected to the vehicle's electrical system, please watch for the factory installed components (such as
on-vehicle computer). Please do not use these wires to supply power for this device.
· When connecting UTX-M06 to the fuse box, please make sure that the amperage of the circuit fuse used for
UTX-M06 is appropriate. If not, it may result in damage to this device and/or the vehicle. For any questions,
please consult your Alpine dealer.
· UTX-M06 uses a recessed RCA socket for connection with other devices with RCA connector (such as
amplifier). You may need an adaptor for connection with other devices. If you need an adaptor, please contact
your Alpine authorized dealer.
· Please make sure to connect the speaker (-) wire to the speaker (-) terminal. Be sure not to connect the wires
of the left and right speakers to each other or the vehicle body.

Please fill in the serial number of this device in the brackets and save it permanently. The serial number is
on the label at the top of the device.
