When a problem occurs

If you encounter any problem, please turn off the power and turn it on again. If the device still cannot work,
please check the items in the table below. If the device fails, this manual will help you solve the problem.
Otherwise, please confirm that your system is connected correctly or consult your Alpine authorized dealer.

Function cannot be used or displayed.
The ignition switch of the vehicle is off.
·
- If connected as per the instructions, this device will not run when the
vehicle's ignition switch is off.
· Power cord (red) and battery wire (yellow) are connected incorrectly.
- Check the wiring of the power cord and battery wire.
·The fuse blows out.
- Check the fuse of the device. If needed, replace it with a new fuse with
appropriate specifications.
· Failure occurs to the microcomputer inside due to interfering noise and
so on.
- Press RESET with a ballpoint or other pointed object.
Failure to play MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/APE.
Write error occurs. Incompatible with MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/APE

formats
- Ensure writing of MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC/APE in a supported
format.
Sound is not output from the speaker.
The built-in amplifier does not output a signal.

- The switch of the built-in power amplifier has been turned to "On".
USB transmission error: Communication failure or startup failure etc.
The problem can be solved by turning off/on ACC.

Device not supported: A USB device not supported by this device is connected.
- Connect USB devices supported by this device, such as USB flash disk or
MICRO SD.
The device has no response: The USB device has no response.
Please reinsert the USB device.

Please insert a USB device: No USB storage is connected.
Make sure that the USB storage is correctly connected and the cable is

not overbent.
No tracks: There are no tracks (files) in the USB storage.
- Connect a USB storage device with tracks (files) in it.
Protected file: A WMA file with copy protection is played.
The device can only play files without copy protection.

Device not connected: No Bluetooth device is connected.
- Connect a Bluetooth device.
No tracks: There are no tracks on the Bluetooth device.
- Please download tracks to the Bluetooth device.
