Top Plate Shims
1. Remove the Top Plate.
2. Remove the three shims highlighted in the illustration
below.
3. Matte Black Stoves: Replace the Top Plate and discard
the shims.

Mobile Home Installation
The Jøtul GF 370 DV MV can be installed for use in a
mobile home in the U.S. and Canada provided:
1. The stove must be secured to the floor of the mobile
home. There is a hole for this purpose, located in the
pedestal base, through which a lag screw or other ap-
propriate fastener should be secured to the floor.
2. The stove is installed in accordance with Title 24
CFR, Part 3280- Manufactured Home Construction
and Safety Standard, in the U.S. Comply with CSA
Z240.4, Gas Equipped Recreational Vehicles and
Mobile Housing, in Canada.
3. Always contact your local officials about installation
restrictions and requirements in your area.
THIS APPLIANCE MAY BE INSTALLED AS AN
OEM INSTALLATION IN A MANUFACTURED
(MOBILE) HOME AND MUST BE INSTALLED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S
INSTRUCTIONS AND THE MANUFACTURED

STANDARD, TITLE 24 CFR, PART 3280,
STANDARD FOR MANUFACTURED HOME

APPLIANCE IS ONLY FOR USE WITH THE
TYPE OF GAS THAT IS INDICATED ON THE
STOVE'S RATING PLATE. THIS APPLIANCE

PERMANENTLY LOCATED, MANUFACTURED
(MOBILE) HOME, WHERE NOT PROHIBITED BY
LOCAL CODE.

Hearth Requirements
The Jøtul GF 370 DV MV has been approved for
installation directly on non-combustible floor materials.
No additional floor protection is required, however, we
recommend that the stove be installed on a solid surface.
