Drive Headers (SATA)
SATA 6Gb/s is the current standard for an HDD/SSD interface. These ports
provide the data interconnect for the motherboard and HDD/SSD via cable.
Your drive still requires a separate power connection from your power supply.
Intel SATA ports on this platform natively support full AHCI and RAID
®
functions. RAID mode supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10 through the Intel
®
controller, and all ports retain full AHCI functionality in RAID mode.
