Specify tracks in the desired order using the
numeric buttons.
• To select a nu m ber betw een 1 and 10:
Press the corresponding button for the nu m ber.
• To select a nu m ber higher than 10:
Use the +10 button.
Exa m ples:
+10 → 3
To select 13:
+10 → +10 → +10 → 4
To select 34:
+10 → +10 → +10 → 10
To select 40:
U p to 99 tracks can be progra m m ed. You m ay
select the sa m e track m ore than once.
The total progra m tim e is sho w n at the right top of
the progra m table.

Use 5/∞ to m ove
press TV/VIDE O - C A N CEL. The track is erased
and the subsequent progra m m ed tracks m ove up.
• To clear the program while programming
Press 7 .

Press 3 to start program playback.
With a Video CD/SVCD disc, the progra m table is
auto m atically dismissed w hen the progra m
playback starts.
With an A udio CD disc, the progra m table re m ains
on the TV screen during progra m playback.
Ho w ever, pressing the O N SCREE N button brings
up the status bar.
W hen all of the progra m m ed tracks have finished
playback, the unit stops and the progra m table
appears again.
N ote that the progra m re m ains.
• To check the program contents
During playback, press 7 . Playback stops and the
progra m table is sho w n.
W hen the unit is playing back an A udio CD and the
progra m table is not sho w n, you can bring up the
table by carrying out steps 1 to 3.
During Video CD/SVCD playback, you cannot see the
progra m table during playback.
• To quit program playback
Press 7 . N ote that the progra m re m ains.

After clearing all progra m m ed tracks, press O N
SCREE N.
The progra m table is dismissed and the status bar
appears on the TV screen.
The PRO GRA M indicator in the display windo w
disappears and the unit quits progra m playback
m ode.
NOTES
• During program playback, you cannot edit the program
contents.
• During program playback, pressing ¢ skips to the
next selection of the program. Pressing 4 returns to
the beginning of the current selection.
• To dismiss the program table:
Press O N SCREE N. The progra m table is dismissed and
the status bar is sho w n.
• To dismiss the menu bar (and the status bar):
Press O N SCREE N.
To playback in random order
[Random play]
You can play tracks on a disc in rando m order by using
the rando m function.
