UNIT PUMP MANAGEMENT

4.10.1

GENERAL

Using the parameter it will be possible to set the desired mode of operation for the system pump, such as continuous operation or sniffer - parameter
0143 "Plant function mode".
4.10.2

PUMP IN CONTINUOUS OPERATION

If continuous operation mode is selected - parameter 0143 = ALWAYS ON -, when the machine is set to "Cool" or "Heat" (meaning not OFF), the
system pump will always be on (at the working speed defined by the selected curve).
When the unit is set to OFF, the pump will be off and will only switch on at the conditions described by the "Antifreeze protection" function.
4.10.3

PUMP IN SNIFFER MODE

In order to reduce energy consumption to the minimum, it will be possible to configure the switching on of the system pump following the temperature
regulator demand (meaning continuous on when the compressor is active), by setting parameter 0143 = SNIFFERS. In order to allow the correct
regulation, "sniffers" " will be managed: the pump will be activated at regular intervals for the time set using parameter 0147 "Time on sniffer plant". 5
seconds before the expiry of this time, if the water temperature read by the regulation probe (B2) shows a value such to request the switching on of
the compressor, this is switched on and the pump also stays on. When the compressor shuts down, the pump continues to operate for the time set
using parameter 131J "Plant pump Off delay from compres. .Off", after which it will stop and return to sniffer mode.
Sniffer activity intervals can be set using parameter 0148 "Time off sniffer plnt". See the function described below:
