Section 4 - Configuration
The Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) assigns an easy-to-remember
domain name such as [YourDomainName].com to a dynamic IP address
assigned by your Internet Service Provider. Through the DDNS service
provider, people can enter your domain name in their web browser to connect
to your server (e.g. FTP or web), no matter what your IP address is. To access
this page, go to Features > Dynamic DNS.
Complete the following to configure the DDNS:
Enable:
Enable or disable Dynamic DNS.
Server Address:
Select your DDNS service provider: www.dyndns.org or www.no-ip.
com. Select Manual to enter your DDNS service address manually.
Hostname:
Enter the host name that you registered with your DDNS service
provider.
Username:
Enter the username for your DDNS account.
Password:
Enter the Password for your DDNS account.
Click Save when you are done.
