Display and Pad Settings (SETUP)

Here you can make display, pad, and MIDI-related settings for the entire SPD-SX. For the procedure, refer to "Basic Editing
Procedure" (p. 16).
1.
Choose MENU
SETUP.
2.
Choose the item that you want to edit.
3.
Edit the parameter.
SETUP screen quick menu
In the SETUP screen, pressing the [QUICK] button will display the following quick menu.

SETUP INIT
Initializes the settings of the Setup parameters.
Display Brightness and Indicator Settings (LCD/LED)
Here you can adjust the brightness of the display, and specify how the indicators will light.

Specifies how the pad indicators will light.

Specifies how the TEMPO indicator will light.

Explanation
Adjusts the contrast of the display.
Adjusts the brightness of the display.
The pad indicators will always stay unlit.
The pad indicators will light according to the volume of the wave being played.
The pad indicators will light only when you play the pad.
The pad indicators will always remain lit.
The TEMPO indicator will stay unlit.
The TEMPO indicator will blink at the tempo.
Selects whether the sub-name or the level meter will be shown below the kit name in the top
screen.
