Possible Cause
The cutting blade is blunt.
Cutting at more than the recommended speed.
Mowing in the same direction.
"Stragglers" are separated blades of not cut or incor-
rectly cut grass.

Replace damaged blades.
Decrease the cutting speed.
Change the direction of cut on each cut.
