FUEL RECOMMENDATIONS

This engine is certified to operate on regular unleaded gasoline w ith a
pum p octane rating of 86 or higher.
Never use stale or contam inated gasoline or an oil/gasoline m ixture.
Avoid getting dirt or w ater in the fuel tank.
You m ay use regular unleaded gasoline containing no m ore than 10%
ethanol (E10) or 5% m ethanol by volum e. In addition, m ethanol m ust
contain cosolvents and corrosion inhibitors.
Use of fuels w ith content of ethanol or m ethanol greater than show n
above m ay cause starting and/or perform ance problem s. It m ay also
dam age m etal, rubber, and plastic parts of the fuel system .
Engine dam age or perform ance problem s that result from using a fuel
w ith percentages of ethanol or m ethanol greater than show n above
are not covered under w arranty.
