Recommended oil: 4-STROKE MOTOR OIL SAE 10W-30 API Service category SE or later Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and check the oil level. If the oil level is low, add the recommended oil to the edge of the oil filler neck.

However, if the generator is only used periodically, the battery must be charged monthly to maintain the battery service life.
