(8) 10GBASE-ER Single-mode Optical Fiber Cord
(Core diameter: 10μm,SC twin-core connector)
This is used for the connection with 10GBASE-ER/10GBASE-EW.
The boundary with 10GBASE-ER/10GBASE-EW is the connector on GR4000.
The maximum transmission distance between the devices with 10GBASE-
ER/10GBASE-EW when using an optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10/125μm
(wave length: 1300nm)is 40Km.
Figure 3.2-8 shows the rough sketch of the cable, and Table 3.2-13 shows the
specification of an optic fiber interface.
