The relation between input signal (0 to 1023) and the brightness displayed on the monitor is
described below.
To display a PQ method gamma curve with a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m
a monitor with a set brightness of 300 cd/m
display according to PQ method gamma curves uncompressed up to 300 cd/m
from 300 cd/m
