URP75 / URP85 Remote
Monitoring Software
The Planar URP75 and URP85 models feature a web interface that may be accessed from any
web browser. This powerful tool is compatible with computers and mobile devices and can be
used to control the display and access most of the settings that are available in the On-Screen
Menu.
Additionally, the web interface can be used as an alternative to the IR remote or a 3rd party
control system. Certain features can be locked behind Admin level access, preserving only the
most essential controls, such as power, volume, brightness, input selection, and multi-source
layouts. (See "Remote Monitoring Access Control" on page 85.)
19. Remote Monitoring Home
Connect the display to the network. Launch a web browser on your computer or mobile device.
Enter the IP address shown in the Network menu (see page 50). If successful, you should see
the Remote Monitoring System Information page.
Depending on the resolution and orientation of your browser, the appearance of the interface
may vary.
