8.2.2 Backing Up Management Information

Refer to the following sections to back up the management information on the Managed Server.

8.2.3 Releasing Backup and Restore in Exchange Server Database (for Windows)

When the backup and the restoration function of the Exchange Server database are used, release the setting in reference to the manual
of the previous version.
"Backup and restore of Exchange Server database" in the ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Operator's Guide (for Windows), do the
following:

Stopping backup copy process
-
Delete source and replica volumes
-
Cancel the hardware provider registration

8.2.4 Uninstalling Previous Version

Uninstall the previous version in reference to the previous version manual.
For Non-clustered Systems
Note
In the course of the following procedures, be careful not to perform the procedure "Deletion of all storage servers".

For Windows
Perform the procedures following "Uninstall procedure" in "Windows Platform" in "Uninstall of Agent" in the ETERNUS SF
AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide or ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation and Setup Guide.

For Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, or AIX
Perform the procedures following "Daemon deactivation" in "Solaris/Linux/HP-UX/AIX Platform" in "Uninstall of Agent" in the
ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation Guide or ETERNUS SF AdvancedCopy Manager Installation and Setup Guide.
For Clustered Systems
If cluster operations are used for Managed Servers as Managed Server transactions, perform the unsetup of cluster settings before
performing uninstallation.
