Replacement and Adjustment
Examine how to remove the paper tray unit from
the machine before you do the replacement
procedures. (Read Paper Tray Unit section of
Service Manual.)
You will usually have to replace these (PM
interval every 120K) in the field due to normal
wear and tear. Practice these removal
procedures:
Feed roller and friction pad
Sensors
Drive block
Paper feed motor
Paper feed clutch
Tray main board
Clean the bottom plate when necessary
