Color Tone Inspection

Adjust the white balance before you inspect the color tones.

Gently place a hand around the distal end of the
scope and make sure the color tones of your hand
displayed on the monitor are natural. (Refer to Figure
3.3.)

Press UV for each of [BLUE] and [RED] of [Color
Balance] and make sure the indications of the
indicators and the color tones of your hand
displayed on the monitor change.

Suction Inspection

Fully press the suction control valve of the scope
and make sure water is sucked through the distal
end of the scope. (Refer to Figure 3.4.)
•• Perform this operation on an endoscope with an instrument
channel.
