3-1. LCD CONTRAST ADJUSTMENT
1. Start up the JME-UA200, and make adjustment under
the condition of Menu screen shown below. (Fig. 1)
2. Adjust the LCD contrast by rotating the RV1 so that
characters are legible when a potential difference
rangebetween pins 1 and 3 of RV1 is 10 to 11.5V.

3-2. OPERATION CHECK
1. Connect the LDU-15, and perform operation check.
2. In the SPG mode, select TEST signal and check the
operation of WHITE, BLUE, RED, GREEN, STAIR
STEP, COLOR BAR-V, COLOR BAR-H, and
BLANKING signals.
3. In the UNIT CONTROL mode, select the UNIT TYPE.
Adjust the unit address of LDU-15 to the address
displayed on the LCD, and select "All" for the screen
No.
4. Start operation, and confirm that the communication
can be made normally.
If normal, the following display will appear. (Fig. 2)

3-3. CHECKING IN UNIT CONTROL
MODE
Connect the LDU-15, and make the following checking in
the Unit Control mode.
1. Select UNIT Reset, and check that the unit is reset.
(The unit will blink once.)
2. Select LED Check, and check that an indicator on the
rear panel blinks red when the ENTER key is pressed
in Blink (R) mode.
(Beforehand, check that an indicator on the rear panel
lights green when the unit is connected.)
3. Select Cursor Check, and check that a white screen
appears on the unit and one cell blinks when the
ENTER key is pressed in Blink (W) mode.
4. Select UNIT SPG, and the stairsteps, color bars, and
characters are displayed on the unit when the ENTER
key is pressed in Free Running mode.
5. Select Unit Condition, screen No., and unit address to
be checked. Check that the communication with the
unit is possible and LCD display is made when the
ENTER key is pressed.
6. Select Fan Speed, and check that the speed of unit fan
varies as displayed on the LCD with
3-4. DEMONSTRATION CHECK
1. Connect the LDU-15, and check that the characters
appear on the unit when the DEMO key is pressed.
(Set the rotary switch on the rear panel of unit to 001.)
3-5. ADJUSTMENT AND CHECK BY
SENSOR
1. Connect the LDU-15 and the unit sensor JME-US15L,
then make a checking.
2. In the ADJUST mode, select SENSOR, and press the
ENTER key to select Measure.
3. Select H: 02, V: 01 cell, and press the HOLD key.
4. Insert the sensor into that cell, and press the ENTER
key to perform measurement.
5. After measurement, select Adjust with the SENSOR
ADJUST MENU.
6. Select H: 02, V: 01 cell, and press the HOLD key.
7. Insert the sensor into that cell, and press the ENTER
key, so that the brightness is adjusted automatically,
then the adjustment result is displayed. Check the result
that B, R, G of each dot are OK (g marking).
(g marking for OK dots, or G marking for NG dots is
given in each cell.)
