Adjusting the Luminance Automatically Using a Sensor

Press the ENTER button.
The measured data is stored in the memory, and the SENSOR
ADJUST menu is restored.
3 Adjusting the luminance automatically
Make the luminance adjustment after completing step 9 above. The
luminance of a selected cell is adjusted to the same level as that of the
stored data.

Select "Adjust" from the SENSOR ADJUST menu with the ◊ or √
button and press the ENTER button.
The cell in the top left corner of the unit blinks.

Press ◊, √, ∫ or ı button to make the cell you want to adjust blink.
The display shows the position of the selected cell.
Example: Adjusting the cell in the bottom right corner of the unit

Press the HOLD button.
The selected cell is stored in the memory and stops blinking.
"HOLD!" appears in the display window.

Attach the sensor (not supplied) to the target cell and press the ENTER
button.
The luminance is automatically measured.

After the adjustment is complete, the display changes as follows:

The unit writes the data into the memory after "Adjust END" appears, then
displays the measured data in the display window about 10 seconds later.

Press the ENTER button.
The SENSOR ADJUST menu is restored.
4 Finishing the adjustment

Select "Quit" from the SENSOR ADJUST menu with the ◊ or √
button, and press the ENTER button.
If adjustment fails
Try to repeat from step 9 to make adjustment again. Should "Adjust NG"
still appear, adjustment failure may be caused by the light-emitting limits
of the cell. Check the revised light emission data using "Revise Data
menu." (See page 34.)
If the revision value is at its maximum limit, you cannot make the
adjustment.
