To configure the OmniBook with OS/2 Warp 4.0

OS/2 Warp has a battery power indicator. Open the System Setup folder and
double-click the Power Icon. You can also use the Power Icon's menu to
suspend the OmniBook.

To use PC cards

OS/2 Warp contains Plug-n-Play for PCMCIA. Open the System Setup folder and
double-click on Plug-n-Play for PCMCIA. This will show you if your PC cards are
recognized and configured. It also allows you to set programs to activate when you
insert certain PC cards. Please note the following:
All Network cards will be recognized but not configured until you load OS/2
Networking. Refer to the HP OmniBook Whole Product Test List to see which
PC cards are supported.
All PC card Hard drives will be recognized but not configured until you try to
access them.
All Flash RAM PC cards must be used in the bottom PC card slot.
Refer to the OS/2 documentation for more information about PC cards.
