Follow operating instructions carefully.
DANGER
• Contact with live circuits can cause serious injury or death.
WARNING
• Do not use tester if wet or damaged.
• Do not perform any service or maintenance other than that described in these instructions.
• Always disconnect both test probes before replacing the battery.
• Do not touch probe ends while testing live circuits.
• Do not exceed rated voltages.
• Visually examine the tester for external damage before each use.
• Test on a known live circuit prior to use.
Electric shock or damage to tester may result.
Failure to observe these warnings may result in serious injury or death!
CAUTION
• Touch the test probes together. If no sound is audible, the batteries must be replaced. Follow the
Maintenance instructions for Battery Replacement.
• This tester has a built-in load, therefore, the operation and recovery time is specified as follows:

50 ... 300 V
300 ... 700 V
Please note that the recovery time depends on the ambient temperature.
